about me

A confusing product is a broken product. I want to be the person who makes sure that never happens.

I'm the kid of two Cambodian immigrants who came to the US with almost nothing. Growing up, I was the one helping them get through websites and fill out forms, systems that were supposed to serve them but never felt like they were built for them.

That frustrated me. Not with them, but with what they had to deal with. My parents weren't the problem. The products were. That's where my whole philosophy comes from.

So that's what I'm building toward. I study CS at CU Boulder with minors in Business, Engineering Entrepreneurship, and UX, and I've done PM-adjacent internships at Spectrum, Engrain, and Maximal Learning. Having a foot in engineering, design, and business means I understand the messy parts of building a product, so the user never has to.

When I'm not doing that, I'm still a tech and design person at heart. I built my own Formd T1 ITX PC in December 2024, mostly for gaming, and I'm currently playing a little too much Deadlock (at least it's not League). I've been an F1 fan ever since I watched a video about the Mercedes W11's powertrain. Honestly, that's what got me into engineering in the first place.

And if you've ever met me in person, you already know I care about how I dress. Lately that's meant a lot of vintage tailoring, especially 80s and 90s Giorgio Armani.

If you want to talk products, F1, or where to find good vintage, come say hi.
